Indonesian students have strong options both from the Indonesian government's own LPDP fund and from international programmes. These are the fully funded routes worth applying to in 2026.
1. LPDP Scholarship for Indonesian Students. The Indonesian government's main fund covers tuition and living costs for master's and PhD study at home and abroad, including at partner universities like Chalmers in Sweden.
2. DAAD In-Country/In-Region Scholarships at UGM. DAAD funds graduate study at Indonesian universities including Gadjah Mada, for students from the region.
3. Indonesian Women Impact Scholarship at Monash. A scholarship supporting Indonesian women studying at Monash University.
4. Indonesia-UK DIKTI Scholarship Programme. A partnership between Indonesia and UK universities funding Indonesian academics and postgraduate students in the UK.
5. Monash University Indonesia Scholarship. A scholarship for Indonesian students at Monash's Indonesia campus and in Australia.
6. BU International Partnership Scholarship for BINUS. A partnership award for students from BINUS University at Bournemouth University in the UK.
7. OTS Scholarship Fund for Indonesian Students. Funding for Indonesian students at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences.
8. Global Korea Scholarship (GKS). The Korean government's fully funded award, open to Indonesian students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
LPDP is the most important single source for Indonesian students and runs a structured application cycle every year. The international programmes add options abroad. Whichever you choose, confirm the current deadline and eligibility on the official provider website before applying.
