1) Apply in the Chinese Government Scholarship Information System (studyinchina.csc.edu.cn) choosing Type B with agency number 10036. 2) Email the complete document set to uibescholarship@163.com with the subject 'UIBE+Type B'; it must match what was uploaded to the system. 3) After the initial review UIBE issues a pre-admission letter; the application must be completed before the round's deadline. Documents: CSC application form; passport front page (ordinary passport valid beyond the September after entry); notarised highest diploma; transcripts from undergraduate study onwards; language certificate (HSK 5+ or IELTS/TOEFL); a study and research plan of over 1,000 characters; two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors with contact details; the Foreigner Physical Examination Form; a police non-criminal-record certificate; and optional publications or awards.
