Chinese Government Scholarship — High-Level Graduate Programme at Wuhan University of Technology (2026)

China Scholarship Council / Wuhan University of Technology🪐 🇨🇳 Multiple countriesDeadline: 10 March 2026, 00:00

WUT's High-Level Graduate Programme (中国政府奖学金“高水平研究生”项目) is a Type B full scholarship for full-time master's (three-year scholarship term) and doctoral (four-year term) study, with the aid period fixed at the study duration on admission — including any Chinese-language preparation — and normally not extendable. Applicants must be non-Chinese and in good health, with a bachelor's degree and under 35 for master's study or a master's degree and under 40 for doctoral study, and must not hold another scholarship; Chinese-taught applicants need HSK 4 for science and engineering or HSK 5 for humanities, English-taught applicants TOEFL 80 or IELTS 6 (with WUT's own written or oral test if no standard score is available, and exemption for native English speakers). The award waives tuition and accommodation and pays 3,000 (master's) or 3,500 (doctoral) RMB a month plus comprehensive medical insurance, with international travel self-funded. Applications go through the CSC system as category B with WUT's agency code 10497 and also through WUT's own admission system; the 2026 round closed on 2026-03-10. Evidence-checked against the official page (fetched 2026-09-24; page text: data/source_direct/pages/whut--cgs-hlp-2026). Verify current details on the official website before applying.

This scholarship is currently closed. Based on its annual cycle, applications are expected to reopen around Mar 2027 — the exact date is set when the provider publishes the next cycle. Check the provider website for the next cycle, or see similar open opportunities below.
