International Chinese Language Teachers Scholarship at Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine (2026)
Open to all fields
The Silk Road Programme (丝绸之路中国政府奖学金项目) is a full Ministry of Education scholarship that lets selected Chinese universities recruit master's and doctoral students from Belt-and-Road countries on their own; WUT runs it for Materials Science and Engineering, Transportation Engineering and Civil Engineering, taught in Chinese or English, with three-year master's and four-year doctoral scholarships. The eligible countries listed on the 2026 guide are Turkmenistan, Pakistan, Ethiopia, Yemen, Egypt, Nepal, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Vietnam and Malaysia. Applicants must be non-Chinese and in good health, hold a bachelor's degree and be under 35 (master's) or a master's degree and be under 40 (doctoral), hold no other scholarship, and show HSK 4 (with a year of Chinese preparation allowed below that) for Chinese-taught study or TOEFL 80 / IELTS 5.5 for English-taught study. The award waives tuition and accommodation and pays 3,000 (master's) or 3,500 (doctoral) RMB a month plus comprehensive medical insurance, with international travel self-funded. Apply in the CSC system with agency code 10497 and programme category B and in WUT's own admission system; the 2026 round closed on 2026-05-29. Evidence-checked against the official page (fetched 2026-09-24; page text: data/source_direct/pages/whut--cgs-silkroad-2026). Verify current details on the official website before applying.
