Academic Requirements
Non-Chinese citizens in good physical and mental health with a high-school diploma or equivalent and an excellent academic record, normally no more than 25 years old, applying to a full-time bachelor's programme. Chinese-taught applicants need in principle HSK level 4 with a score of at least 180 (applicants to the Chinese-language-education major taught to international students may be absolute beginners); English-taught applicants need in principle IELTS 5.5, TOEFL 70 or an equivalent qualification. Applicants must also satisfy the university's other admission requirements. Materials are submitted as A4 scans by e-mail: the GXUN scholarship application form, the passport front page, the highest diploma, transcripts and the other documents the guide lists; no paper copies are posted.
