Fully Funded Scholarships for Pakistani Students 2026

Pakistani students are eligible for some of the most generous scholarship programmes in the world, from UK government awards to country-specific university scholarships. This is where the well-funded options for 2026 sit.

1. Chevening Scholarships. The UK government's fully funded award for a one-year master's at any UK university. Pakistani applicants apply through the Islamabad embassy, and the scholarship covers tuition, living costs and return flights.

2. DAAD EPOS Scholarships. Fully funded master's and PhD study in Germany for development-related courses, open to graduates from Pakistan and other developing countries.

3. Australia Awards. The Australian government's development scholarship funds full tuition, return airfare and a living allowance. Pakistan is one of the eligible partner countries.

4. Bestway Foundation Scholarships at the University of Bradford. A dedicated fund for Pakistani students covering tuition and living costs at Bradford, run in partnership with the Bestway Foundation.

5. Sussex Pakistan Scholarship. A tuition discount for undergraduate applicants from Pakistan at the University of Sussex.

6. British Pakistani Academic Futures Scholarship. Funded study at select UK universities for academically strong students of Pakistani heritage.

7. Pakistan HEC Scholarships. Higher Education Commission funding that supports Pakistani students at partner universities abroad, including Sabanci University in Turkey.

Most of these awards need strong academic records and, for the government programmes, a clear plan to return to Pakistan after study. Deadlines vary widely: Chevening opens in early autumn, while university scholarships often close in spring.
