Scholarship Guides Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters (EU): How to Apply
Europe (EU) · Application Guide
Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters are international master's degrees designed and delivered by a consortium of at least three higher-education institutions from at least three countries. You study at several of these institutions across Europe and beyond. Each programme runs its own admission process, so you apply directly to the programme (the consortium), not to a central Erasmus body.
Administered by: Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, delivered by each Joint Master consortium

Each year a new batch of selected Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters is added. Search the official Erasmus+ course catalogue to find programmes matching your background and study goals.
Every master's website lists the course of study, participating universities, entry requirements and the exact application steps and deadlines (with and without scholarship). Deadlines are set per programme.
Students apply directly to the institution/consortium running their chosen programme, using that programme's online application system. Submission windows are typically between October and January for courses starting the following academic year, but always confirm on the programme's site.
Upload the required scanned documents (PDF). Scholarship funding is awarded competitively to the best-ranked applicants, apply for it within the same application as instructed by the programme.
The consortium selects students and awards scholarships to the highest-ranked worldwide applicants. If selected you sign a study agreement with the Joint Master defining the joint or multiple degree you will receive.
The 1-2 year (60/90/120 ECTS) master's typically includes study periods at more than one consortium university, a research/traineeship phase and a thesis.
Dates move every year — always confirm on the official portal before planning around them.
